The year is winding down and it is a good time to pause and reflect on the past 12 months. If you had to describe 2017 in one word, what would it be? For me, it would be growth… An interesting mix of wonderful growth and growing pains. I am ready to embrace the new year and excited to see what it will bring… This blog has grown a lot in the past 12 months and I can’t wait to show you what Kingsbury Brook Farm has in store for 2018!
But first, here is a look at the top 10 posts of 2017!
I am an avid gardener and I love having my hands in the dirt surrounded by all the buzzing bees delecting in our perennial flowers. Last fall, I shared a tablescape inspired by our indispensable pollinators.
I always wanted to store our bread in an old bread box on our kitchen counters, and when my husband found this wooden box at our neighbor’s antique store, I decided to give it a little makeover.
A tour of our eat-in kitchen all decked out for the holidays…
I started a living room makeover a year ago and I gave an update on our progress last August. Stay tuned for the big reveal coming up in January!
I teamed up with 30 bloggers this month for a Christmas festival blog hop and I shared two vignettes in our living room.
A very easy and inexpensive project that brings character and vintage charm to any space.
This cupboard makeover is my favorite to date… I love the chippy white and the contrast between the dark wood and the white ironstone.
I gave a tour of this very special house we rented last summer in Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive, a picturesque village located in the region of Charlevoix in the province of Québec.
My most popular post of 2017 is a tutorial on how to make these simple white Christmas ornaments out of only baking soda and cornstarch.
Here you have it, the top 10 posts of 2017!
I would like to take a moment to say thank you for reading and following along Kingsbury Brook Farm and for all of your kindness, encouragement and friendship! It means more than you know…
Here is what I wish for you in the upcoming year:
“May Light always surround you;
Hope kindle and rebound you.
May your Hurts turn to Healing;
Your Heart embrace Feeling.
May Wounds become Wisdom;
Every Kindness a Prism.
May Laughter infect you;
Your Passion resurrect you.
May Goodness inspire
your Deepest Desires.
Through all that you Reach For,
May your arms Never Tire.”

See you in 2018!
