I am so excited to be celebrating my 6 month blog anniversary today and I thought I would do a roundup of the top 5 posts of 2016. Life is full of surprises and starting a blog writing about our journey living and beautifying our little farmstead in rural Vermont after earning 3 college degrees in piano performance was definitely unexpected. I am so thankful for my sister who encouraged me to take the plunge and hit that publish button last June. I learned so much in the past 6 months and I enjoyed reading every comment and every email. I feel so joyful and grateful to be on this blogging journey and I am so excited about what is to come. Thank you to all of you who are stopping by and taking the time from your day to read this blog. You have no idea how much I appreciate it!
And now, the top five posts of 2016…
Most of our Christmas decorations are handmade this year. My favorite one is a cinnamon applesauce ornament with my son’s hand print.
I love fall and cozying up our home for the colder months is something I look forward doing every year.
This was our biggest project this year and I am happy to report that our countertop is holding up really well.
#2: Farmhouse style
This was my first post and I remember how thrilled and terrified I was to hit that publish button.
Here you have it, the top 5 posts of 2016. I am currently in New York City celebrating the holidays with my in-laws and thinking about all the projects and goals I would like to accomplish in 2017. My husband is picking up a free IKEA Ektorp sofa in Brooklyn tomorrow afternoon and we will be driving back to Vermont with the sofa strapped to the roof of our small car. This is called decorating on a shoestring budget my friends!
Greetings from Kingsbury Brook Farm!
