Welcome to Kingsbury Brook Farm! I am thrilled to join an amazing group of bloggers for a fall festival blog hop hosted by Kendra from Joy in Our Home. Each day will showcase a different theme and today is all about tablescapes.
I am excited to share a fall tablescape in our eat-in kitchen with you today. I am an avid gardener and here in Vermont, gardening season is coming to an end. This time of year is always bitter sweet for me. I am so excited about everything fall but at the same time, I know I will miss having my hands in the dirt surrounded by all the buzzing bees delecting in our perennial flowers. In honor of our indispensable pollinators, I thought I would share a bee inspired fall tablescape.
I started by laying a blue ticking table runner on our newly planked table and wrapped two mums in burlap. I scattered some pumpkins and squash and tucked a few beeswax tea light candles among the pumpkins. For the individual place settings, I kept it simple with some white ironstone plates, blue ticking napkins and darling bee glasses. I always enjoy making little favors for our guests and this time, they will be going home with a little jar of local honey.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Next stop on this blog hop is the talented Kate from Back to Blueberry Hill. Be sure to check all the other amazing bloggers below!
