I would like to welcome you to the Kingsbury Brook Farm website. My name is Marie-Hélène and I live in rural Vermont with my husband Marcial and my 4 year old son Marcialito.
I am a classical pianist from Québec and I moved to New York City in 2002 to study at Mannes College of Music. I met my wonderful husband a year later and we decided to make the move from a city of 8 million people to a small Vermont town of 800 in 2006.

Star gazing, camp fires, sunsets, clean air, pure water, smell of lilacs, birds singing, vegetables growing, perennials blossoming, fire crackling in the wood stove have all been an integral part of our lives for the past decade. Our land and home have blessed us with a life that is slower, simpler, brighter, healthier and more wholesome.
This is the Kingsbury Brook that passes through our land. The brook is very special to us and it is the main reason we bought our homestead.
We also share our farmstead with Moose, our Maremma sheepdog
Pearl and Marble, our Friesian sheep
Goldie Locks, Silver Mist and Rasta, our laying hens
Amber, our indoor cat
My sister and best friend Sarah lives half a mile away with her two daughters and husband Jose and she will be making occasional appearances on the blog.
I look forward to getting to know you and I hope that here at Kingsbury Brook Farm you will find some inspiration, encouragement, relaxation, and beauty to brighten your day.
Welcome to Kingsbury Brook Farm!
