What’s a girl to do in bed with a broken foot? Finding some Halloween inspiration to share with you of course! Before we start, I am warning all the Halloween orange and black color lovers out there that this post is about neutral Halloween décor. Here are 10 farmhouse Halloween decorating ideas to inspire you this October.
1. ‘NOT-SO-CREEPY’ SPIDER WEB
Isn’t this the most beautiful spider web you have ever seen? This ‘not-so-creepy’ spider web would also work well for Christmas and winter. You can simply remove the spiders from the crocheted table cloth and you will have a nice looking snowflake hanging from your window until next spring.
2. LACE PUMPKINS
Moving on from crochet to lace with those darling lace pumpkins. A nice project involving Mod Podge, craft paint, and lace fabric.
3. HALLOWEEN CLIPBOARDS
There are so many things I love about this Halloween vignette: the wooden clipboards, the chalkboard, the skeleton rat, the spider, and those awesome Halloween printables, which are free to download here.
4. RUSTIC PUMPKIN
When I saw this picture for the first time last month, I could not stop staring at it! I was so mesmerized by all the elements but I think the rustic pumpkin on the antique chair steals the show. Texture overload!
5. ANTIQUE BOTTLES
Those laboratory bottles with faded labels are perfect for Halloween. They look like they were used in some terrifying lab experiments 100 years ago.
I love adding natural elements in my home all year long and those crows sitting on branches add a touch of mystery and intrigue and would look great on a mantel this Halloween.
7. SUCCULENT PUMPKINS
This is a fun and easy project that involves no pumpkin carving, only a glue gun and some succulent cuttings!
White candles on a varnished silver tray look so romantic but when paired with an old worn black book, it makes me feel uneasy.
9. B-O-O STENCILED LETTERS
This fall front porch is gorgeous and the addition of the B-O-O letters stenciled on burlap squares and pinned on ladder rungs is a subtle nod to Halloween. LOVE it!
10. CARVED HEIRLOOM PUMPKINS
These Jack-O’-Lantern heirloom pumpkins look so original and they are a nice change from the usual orange ones we see every year!
I hope you enjoyed these 10 Halloween farmhouse decorating ideas. I will be back soon with some changes in our living room. If you would like to see what I am pinning every day, you can follow me on Pinterest HERE.
